I am deeply honored to have received the Golden Hysteroscope Award, one of the most prestigious international recognitions in the field of hysteroscopy.
The award was presented during the AAGL Global Congress in Vancouver for a video showcasing the ultrasound-guided hysteroscopic treatment of a Robert’s uterus—an intervention that reflects how intrauterine surgery is evolving toward increasingly higher standards of precision, safety, and preservation of reproductive function.
This achievement represents not only technical progress, but also a step forward in our daily mission: offering minimally invasive treatments that truly improve women’s quality of life and clinical outcomes. It is the result of study, continuous research, and a deep passion for a discipline that is constantly advancing.
My heartfelt thanks go to the colleagues, mentors, and collaborators who have shared this journey. No recognition is ever the product of a single individual: it is the outcome of a shared vision, of complementary expertise, and of teamwork that makes possible what none of us could accomplish alone.
