Thursday, February 20, we lost our dear Prof. Giovanni Scambia.
It was a devastating blow, coming with far too little warning.
He was a great man, a great father, the father of us all. His door was always open to everyone.
He guided us, always had a solution, even when there seemed to be no way out. He always found the right words, reassured us, calmed us. "Everything is possible!"
He changed my life. Everything I am today, I owe to him.
Thank you, Super Prof. I want to remember you with your beautiful smile, as we danced hand in hand at my wedding. After all, I owe that to you too—you were the one who made my meeting with Giovanni, my husband, possible.

I want to share the link to the documentary Le radici del domani, which Prof. Scambia wanted to make less than a year ago to tell the great story of the Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli family. At the end of the documentary, he seems to leave us his testament. Incredible, as always.
